Privacy Policy
In effect from 12 October 2026
KINGG is a trading name of UV International, 32 Ezra Street, Kolkata, West Bengal 700001. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, who can see it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). We never sell your data.
Who is responsible for your data
UV International (trading as KINGG), 32 Ezra Street, Kolkata, West Bengal 700001, decides how and why the personal data described here is used. Under the DPDP Act that makes us the “Data Fiduciary”.
To reach us about anything in this policy, email info@kingg.co.in, call 9830474205, or use our contact form.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what you type into a form, plus what our staff record while handling your request.
| When you… | We collect | To |
|---|---|---|
| Request a quote | Company name, your name, phone, and optionally email, city and your message | Call you back and prepare your quote |
| Register as a dealer | Company name, your name, phone, business type, and optionally email, city, GSTIN and your message | Assess the application and contact you about it |
| Create a company account | Company name, your name, work email, a password (stored only as a salted scrypt hash, never readable), and optionally GSTIN and billing address | Run your account: saved products, quote and order history, team access |
| Are added to a team by an account owner | Your name and work email, provided by the owner | Let you log in to your company's account |
| Send a branding request | The product, branding method, your logo file and notes | Review your artwork and quote for the branded order |
| Place an order with us | Contact details, GSTIN, shipping address, items and invoice/payment status | Fulfil the order, invoice it and keep the records tax law requires |
Our staff also keep short notes on each enquiry and order (for example, a call summary) so whoever picks it up next has the context.
Technical data. To block spam and password-guessing, your IP address is held in our server's memory for up to one hour while counting form submissions and login attempts. It isn't written to our database or linked to you. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, time and page requested) for security.
We don't collect sensitive data such as financial account details, health information or government ID numbers, and we don't make automated decisions about you.
Why we're allowed to use it
When you send us a form, you give us your details for a specific purpose: getting a quote, applying as a dealer, running your account, or a branding request. We use them for that purpose only (DPDP Act, sections 6 and 7(a)). Creating an account also records your explicit agreement, with the date.
We keep order and invoice records because Indian tax law requires it, and we may share data where a law, court or government authority requires us to (section 7).
We won't send you marketing messages unless you separately ask us to.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries (quote, dealer and branding requests) that don't lead to an order: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Company accounts: while the account is open. When you ask us to close it, we delete it within 30 days, except the records below.
- Orders and invoices: for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Under GST law that's currently 72 months from the due date of the annual return for that year.
- Logo files: alongside the branding request they belong to.
How we protect it
Passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes. Login sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies that expire on their own. Every staff member has their own login, and access to the admin area is limited to staff. Uploads are limited to image and PDF files and are given random names.
If a personal data breach happens, we'll tell the people affected and the Data Protection Board of India, as the DPDP Act requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- withdraw consent you've given, as easily as you gave it;
- name someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
To make a request, email info@kingg.co.in, call 9830474205, or use our contact form. We may ask you to confirm it's you. We reply within 30 days. If you have a company account, you can change your password from Security and remove saved products yourself.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, contact our grievance officer at info@kingg.co.in. We'll respond within 30 days.
If our response doesn't resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site is for businesses and institutions. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you've already given us, we'll tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
