Custom Files and Folders for Business: Why Branded Filing Pays Off

A file is often the first physical thing a client receives from you: a proposal, a contract, an admission kit, a training manual. A plain file does the job; a file with your name, logo and colours does the job and reminds the client who sent it every time they open it.
Why businesses brand their files
Your brand stays in sight. Clients keep useful files on their desks and shelves for months. A logo on the cover or spine keeps your name in front of them long after the meeting.
It looks professional. Matching branded files make a proposal, a contract set or an onboarding kit look organised and deliberate.
It helps internal organisation. Colour per department, department codes on the spine and labelled covers make files easy to sort and find.
It works for events. Conferences, trainings, seminars and admissions all hand out documents. Branded conference files carry the agenda, notes and your name home with every attendee.
Where branded files work best
- Client proposals, quotations and contract sets
- Employee onboarding and HR documents
- Training programmes and workshops
- Conferences, seminars and trade events
- School and college admission kits and prospectuses
- Real estate, finance and legal client documents
Which files can be customised
Branding is most common on conference files, document files, arch files and ID card accessories. Not every method suits every material, so tell us the item code and we will confirm what is possible.
Choosing a printing method
- Logo printing or screen printing for a clean one- or two-colour logo on a plain cover.
- UV printing for full-colour artwork and photographs.
- Foil printing for a metallic finish on premium files.
- Embossing for a raised logo with no ink.
Each method is explained on our custom branding page, where you can also upload your logo and start a request.
Planning a custom order
1. Choose the file by size (A4 or FC) and type. Item codes are listed on every product page. 2. Decide the quantity, including spares for new joiners or the next event. 3. Prepare your artwork as a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) if you have one. 4. Agree placement and colours before printing. We share a placement preview with the quote. 5. Allow time. Branded orders take longer than plain stock, so order well before the event or session starts.
